Paul Robinson, SVM Professor of Cytomics at Purdue University, was a member of a team of climbers who summited the 8th highest mountain in the world - Manaslu, Nepal. The details of the climb can be viewed on a blog at Blog. At right you can see Dr. Robinson holding a Purdue flag on the summit.

New DVD to be produced:

October, 16, 2008: West Lafayette, In: The Purdue group will soon be completing a new DVD-Booklet package focused on Global Health. This project will be aimed at evaluating health delivery resources in resource-limited countries. Many groups are proposing to deliver or produce low cost diagnostics or therapeutics for resource limited regions. However, it is very difficult to determine which of those programs are actually doing what they claim to be. Thus our project will attempt to evaluate as many programs as possible. We will distribute 100,000 copies of this project around the world - all free of course. Publication date for this product will be April 2009. Click here for more information.

This project will be a very high profile project and we encourage individuals and institutions to contribute. To do so, please send an email to: disc11@flowcyt.cyto.purdue.edu

A significant amount of sponsorship is available for this project. With 100,000 distribution, this project will be very attractive to sponsors. To inquire please contact us at:
